A Burmese teen asks for prayer as she faces opposition from her Buddhist family members. Khin Myaut Noe, 16, became a Christian during childhood through the witness of her Christian mother despite her father’s strong Buddhist family connections. She lives with her father and two aunts and has helped care for her father since he became paralyzed two years ago. Her aunts strongly oppose Christianity and have forbidden her to attend worship services or participate in Christian activities. When they discovered that Khin Myaut Noe was still secretly attending church, they physically punished her and now keep close watch over her every Sunday. They have also tried to bar her from praying and reading the Bible. Khin Myaut Noe said these circumstances have discouraged her, and she longs to return to church. She continues to hold firmly to her faith in Jesus Christ and asks for prayer that her aunts will be open to Christ.
