Wife’s Endurance Wins Husband to Christ

A man placed his faith in Christ after the witness of his wife. Si Si Than, 35, was raised in a devout Buddhist family but experienced real peace when she heard the gospel. After her husband discovered her new faith, he began to insult, rebuke and physically abuse her. On one occasion, he dragged her out of the church and attacked her with a knife, leaving her with serious injuries. Many people advised divorce, but Si Si Than chose to stay, asking God to bring him to salvation. After several years, her husband placed his trust in Jesus Christ, and his life was transformed. He gave up drinking and smoking and began reading the Bible and attending church services. Today, they are a joyful Christian family, and more family members have turned from Buddhism and placed their faith in Jesus Christ. Pray for this family as they seek God’s will for their lives. Pray also for other women who experience abuse because of their faith in Jesus.
