As Pastor Raymond Koh drove in a suburb of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Feb. 13, 2017, several vehicles suddenly surrounded his car and forced him off the road. More than a dozen masked men jumped out of the vehicles, rushed toward the pastor’s car and smashed his car window open. Within 40 seconds, the men shoved the pastor into one of their vehicles and disappeared.

Since that day almost nine years ago, no one has seen or heard from Pastor Raymond. His car was never located.

With a judge’s verdict scheduled for Nov. 5, the Koh family hopes to finally learn what happened to Pastor Raymond. After years of unanswered questions and unfulfilled promises from the government, they long to know the truth of his abduction and receive accountability for those responsible. Susanna, her son and her two daughters pray that the proceedings will reveal new information about Raymond’s disappearance and bring a measure of justice to their long season of uncertainty. Through it all, they continue to hold fast to the same faith that sustained Pastor Raymond, trusting that in time, God will make known what has been hidden.
