Just days before Pastor Richard Wurmbrand was arrested by the Romanian secret police, he read that there were 366 instances in Scripture that would help Christians overcome fear — one for each day of the year, including leap year. This idea enhanced Richard's and his wife, Sabina’s, prayerful study of God’s Word and gave them strength to stand strong for Christ in the face of opposition, imprisonment and torture.

Whom Shall I Fear? features testimonies of the Wurmbrands and other persecuted Christians from throughout history, while introducing 366 biblical passages to help ground your faith in God’s character as you live obediently for Christ. (Hardcover, 478 pp.)

On Dec. 10, 2015, Petr Jasek arrived at the airport in Khartoum, Sudan, for his return flight home to the Czech Republic. But before he could board his flight, he was summoned by Sudanese security for questioning about his activities in the country — activities that, if disclosed, would endanger the persecuted Christians with whom he had met. As the questions continued and he was taken into custody, Petr realized he would not be returning to his family anytime soon.

Instead, Petr was sentenced to life in prison and forced to share a cell with ISIS terrorists, all for trying to help Christians who had been persecuted by Sudan’s government. In Imprisoned with ISIS, Petr shares the true story of how God gave him strength, courage and a new purpose during his 445-day imprisonment. (Hardcover, 224 pp.)

What inspiration can we take from our Christian brothers and sisters who face opposition from Islamic extremists in the countries where they live? How can we pray for them? And what can we learn from them?

I Am N reminds us that we are each “N,” or ن, the Arabic letter used by Islamists to identify followers of Jesus the Nazarene. Wherever we live, we can fellowship with persecuted Christians, like those you will read about in this book.

In this revised, updated edition, you will meet 52 Christians who were persecuted for their witness in countries where they face opposition from Islamic extremists. Your faith will be deepened as you see how all believers are called to embrace Christ’s suffering. (Paperback, 328 pp.)

What does it look like for a Christian to trust fully in God, obeying his Word at any cost? Highlighting believers in eight countries where Christians face ongoing persecution, the stories on this DVD will inspire you to live boldly for Christ.

Group studies and films sharing the powerful testimonies of VOM founders Richard and Sabina Wurmbrand

Filmed in Romania, including in the prison where Pastor Wurmbrand was held, Tortured for Christ presents the Wurmbrands’ inspiring story in English, Romanian and Russian (with English subtitles) to hold to the authenticity of this true story.

Great character is sometimes forged amid great turmoil. Sabina: Tortured for Christ, the Nazi Years is the story of how God’s love transformed an ambitious, worldly atheist into one of the greatest Christian women of the 20th century.

On Feb. 29, 1948, Richard Wurmbrand was arrested by the secret police. His crime? Leading Christian worship and witnessing, both of which were illegal under Romania’s atheistic, Communist regime. Richard endured 14 years of imprisonment and torture, while his wife, Sabina, suffered three years of imprisonment and forced labor. Yet they emerged not with a bitter spirit but with a story of victorious faith. This biography explores the inspiring lives of Richard and Sabina Wurmbrand, combining their complete stories into a single volume for the first time. (Hardcover, 381 pp.)

Lead your church, group or family to discover the faith and love that conquered Communist prisons. With this video-based group study, any believer can lead other Christians along the path followed by our persecuted brothers and sisters. The Sabina Group Study will inspire your class, group or family through the true story of Richard and Sabina Wurmbrand as well as the testimonies of seven women who, like Sabina, remained obedient to Christ at great cost.
