Three Christians Arrested

In July 2026, Taliban police arrested three Christians for “promoting Christianity and engaging in alleged missionary activities.” Afghanistan is one of the most restrictive and dangerous countries in the world for Christians to live in and witness for Christ. Afghan Christians cannot worship openly and must worship in homes or other small venues. Evangelism is also forbidden. “Pray for their release,” said a front-line worker. “And also pray that the Lord will use this situation to open doors for Christ’s kingdom in the country in a new way.”
