Volunteer/Job Opportunities

Short-Term Volunteers
VOM VolunteersShort-term volunteers work at the Operations Center doing various tasks. They fold, count, sort, stack, stuff, shrink wrap and sticker just to name a few. This area is clean and climate controlled. Volunteers are seated while they work. There are a few other jobs that require standing and lifting. This is to be determined by the individual volunteer and the work schedule. Short coffee breaks are taken at 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. A one hour break is taken over the noon hour for lunch. You can fill out a volunteer application here.

Long-Term Volunteers and Internships
VOM also has long-term opportunities and internships. These can last from 3 months to one year. These volunteers are plugged into different areas/departments of the ministry to serve the persecuted church and work 40 hours/week. You can fill out a volunteer application here and an intern application here.

Volunteer Housing
VOM does have furnished housing available to volunteers that work an average of 5 hours/day for every night in the VOM housing. The housing has all bed linens, a working kitchen, living and dining areas. Housing is subject to availability.

Voice Volunteer Network
Would you like to be a voice for those whose voice is suppressed? A portion of our ministry is called the Voice Volunteer Network.  Those in the network are volunteers who serve as area representatives. In this capacity, you will have the opportunity to educate others about the issue of persecution. Area representatives share this message with congregations, Sunday school classes, and Bible study groups. VOM will supply you with newsletters, other resource materials, and the support necessary for you to be effective.

VOM Volunteers

As an area representative you will influence the values and thinking of people in your area. You will also inspire people to help and support our persecuted family.  Through your efforts, many will become informed of the realities of the persecuted church today. They will also better understand what steps they can take to fulfill our Biblical responsibility to pray and help.

We offer a three part training course to make you more familiar with the issue of persecution, the ministry of VOM, and to help you prepare a persuasive presentation.  We require that you be an active subscriber to our monthly newsletter for at least the past six months.

If you would like to receive a packet of information and an application, send an e-mail to voicenetwork@vom-usa.org.
