Short-term volunteers work at the Operations Center doing various tasks. They fold, count, sort, stack, stuff, shrink wrap and sticker just to name a few. This area is clean and climate controlled. Volunteers are seated while they work. There are a few other jobs that require standing and lifting. This is to be determined by the individual volunteer and the work schedule. Short coffee breaks are taken at 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. A one hour break is taken over the noon hour for lunch. You can fill out a volunteer application here.
VOM has long-term volunteer opportunities that can last from three months to one year. Volunteers work 40
hours per week, serving at the VOM Operations Center as well as in other areas

VOM does have furnished housing available to volunteers that work an average of 5 hours/day for every night in the VOM housing. The housing has all bed linens, a working kitchen, living and dining areas. Housing is subject to availability.

VOM also offers a
two-month internship program for college juniors and seniors. Interns gain
professional experience based on their skill sets and majors. Prospective
interns apply for specific positions, complete an interview, and, if selected,
are assigned to an appropriate department at VOM. Interns work 40-hour weeks
and are provided housing and a stipend.

Database Administrator (Global Technology Services)
VOM USA is seeking to fill
the open position of Database Administrator in our Global Technology Services
(GTS) department. This is a regular, full-time, exempt position reporting
directly to the Director of GTS. A bachelor degree of Computer Science or related
field plus five or more years of designing and implementing databases with SQL
Server experience is required. This position is responsible is to maintain the
integrity, security and availability of multiple databases; provide disaster
recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of
data; implementation of policies and procedures for ensuring the security and
integrity of the database; perform database and software life-cycle activities;
perform SQL Server administration. The challenge of this position is to work
with architecture, application development, IT security, and operations to help
achieve a state-of-the-art environment that meets current and future business
objectives and other projects as assigned. This position is located in
Bartlesville, OK with no relocation assistance.

Web Developer (Global Technology Services)
VOM USA is seeking to fill
the open position of Web Developer I in our Global Technology Services (GTS)
department. This is a regular, full-time, exempt position reporting directly to
the Director of GTS. A bachelor degree of Computer Science or related field
preferred plus five or more years’ experience in a web development or web
designer role. This position is responsible for analyzing, coding, testing and implementing applications
primarily in the .NET framework. These applications include custom
applications, customer facing web sites, email, and MS SharePoint. This
