Volunteer Opportunities

Short-Term Volunteers
VOM VolunteersShort-term volunteers work at the Operations Center doing various tasks. They fold, count, sort, stack, stuff, shrink wrap and sticker just to name a few. This area is clean and climate controlled. Volunteers are seated while they work. There are a few other jobs that require standing and lifting. This is to be determined by the individual volunteer and the work schedule. Short coffee breaks are taken at 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. A one hour break is taken over the noon hour for lunch. Long-Term Volunteers
VOM has long-term volunteer opportunities that can last from three months to one year. Volunteers work 40 hours per week, serving at the VOM Operations Center as well as in other areas of the ministry. If interested, please complete a volunteer application here.

VOM Volunteers

Volunteer Housing
VOM does have furnished housing available to volunteers that work an average of 5 hours/day for every night in the VOM housing. The housing has all bed linens, a working kitchen, living and dining areas. Housing is subject to availability.

VOM Voice
VOM is looking for volunteers who have a passion to be a voice for our persecuted family. You can be a VOM Voice in your community, at your church, on your campus or in your social sphere of influence. Learn more about becoming a VOM Voice here.

Employment Opportunities


VOM also offers a two-month internship program for college juniors and seniors. Interns gain professional experience based on their skill sets and majors. Prospective interns apply for specific positions, complete an interview, and, if selected, are assigned to an appropriate department at VOM. Interns work 40-hour weeks and are provided housing and a stipend.

Maintenance Technician (Facilities Department)

VOM USA is seeking to fill the open position of Facility Maintenance Technician in our Facilities department. This is a regular, full-time, non-exempt position reporting directly to the Manager of Facilities. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. This position must perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs to buildings, facilities, service equipment, fleet vehicles, and grounds. Assist with remodeling projects. Assist with some janitorial duties such as spot carpet cleaning, trash removal, and sweeping. Provide staff support with office moves and general furniture assistance. Other duties as assigned. This position is located in Bartlesville, OK with no relocation assistance.
